To manage these risks, the team covers fundamental analysis, building and executing trading strategies across the geographical markets in Europe. The market making desk is a cross-commodities desk, and this role will be more focused on European power markets.Role:· Help to improve fundamental models · Help to improve real time trading models· Provide analysis to design trading strategies · Assist traders on operational tasksHard skills:·Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment · Self-motivated and result driven with a high level of initiative and creative problem solving · Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize analysis into concrete trading strategies · Excellent quantitative skills: Operation research (linear programming, constraint programming, …) knowledge is a plus Education and professional background:· Strong academic background, ideally from Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computing · Experience in a commodity trading environment is a plus · Power and gas markets fundamentals knowledge is a plusLanguages:EnglishIf you meet these requirements, then you are the talent we are looking for.
