'R&D Maizières Process lab is dedicated to supporting ArcelorMittal’s production plants competitiveness, quality and sustainability by the development or improvement of innovative processes or processing routes (from cokemaking to metallic coating).
ArcelorMittal Europe is committed to reduce CO2 emissions by 35% by 2030 and to be carbon neutral by 2050. In the coming decades, steel production will deeply transform, moving to a generalized usage of the DRI/scraps - EAF routes for the production of liquid steel in Europe, while retaining improved BOF facilities worldwide.
Your role
As a Research engineer in the Steelmaking department of ArcelorMittal R&D, you will directly be involved in this transformation by leading studies and giving support to our plants worldwide in order to tackle the challenges created by the new processes involved (metallurgy, productivity, quality,...) and propose evolution and optimization of the production practices.
