Responsibilities

Business-Driven Insights:

Partner with business stakeholders to deeply understand their strategic objectives, key metrics, and pain points.
Translate business questions into quantifiable data science problems with clear success criteria.
Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and drive data-informed decision-making.

Model Development & Deployment:

Develop and deploy machine learning models that directly address business needs, focusing on tangible ROI and impact.
Prioritize model interpretability and explainability to facilitate adoption and trust among stakeholders.
Continuously monitor model performance and adapt strategies to maintain accuracy and relevance in a dynamic business environment.

Data Storytelling & Communication:

Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Develop compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to empower stakeholders with actionable information.
Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organization, fostering a culture of data literacy and innovation.

Profile

3+ years of experience in applying data science to solve business problems, ideally in industrial or manufacturing settings.
Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
Experience with other languages like SQL, and possibly Julia or Scala
Expertise in data wrangling and cleaning
Proficiency in libraries like pandas, NumPy
Knowledge of SQL for database querying
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM)
Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Understanding of model evaluation and selection techniques
Proficiency in visualization tools and libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, D3.js)
Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI
Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and translate them into actionable data science projects.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share insights and recommendations with stakeholders
Proactive and self-directed, with a passion for solving real-world business challenges.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Certifications in machine learning, cloud platforms, data engineering, or business analysis (e.g., CBAP) are a plus.
