Main responsibilities and accountabilities

Be an example of Health and Safety behavior and comply with the Life Saving Golden Rules. Perform shop floor and layer evaluation audits.
Invent, Design, Develop, and Launch market-oriented and game-changing HAV (high added value) products and solutions, aligned with ArcelorMittal’s and Tailored Blanks’ strategies and capabilities 

to ensure the sustainability of AMTB’s portfolio and the perenity of the business.

Oversee and be responsible for the performance of the existing product portfolio of our different production sites

To ensure the products developed are aligned with our factories' capabilities and the economical performance of the products along its life cycle.

Train and support ArcelorMittal’s customer teams with necessary technical information enabling them to advocate on our behalf and actively promote our Tailored Blank’s portfolio.

Work in synergy within ArcelorMittal’s organization to ensure the smooth promotion of our products in the advanced engineering discussions with our customers.

Managing and ensuring the deliverables of all the stages of a New Product Development (NPD).

Close interaction with our Global R&D teams and guarantee the pipeline of new products and solutions always filled up.

Your need

Education

Master’s degree 
Engineering related

Experience

Confirmed strong engineering background (acquired through Engineering or Master’s degree or Ph.D. and/or through professional experience) and transversal management skills. 

Technical skills 

Product knowledge, Metallurgy, and process understanding 
Carmaker products manufacturing knowledge 
Business specificities knowledge 
Automotive engineering experience 

Management skills 

Knowledge of the product development process (for internal hiring) 
Knowledge about ArcelorMittal Automotive organization 
Results/Customer/Innovation driven 
Reporting efficiency 
Strategy understanding and deployment
Automotive industry and market 

Personal skills 

Fluent in business English (conversation and writing) is mandatory. 
Networking ability 
Ability to manage a project 
Flexibility: the product managers are multiclient (different customers and so projects at the same time) 
Manage customer’s expectations 
High reactivity and decision-making ability 
Ability to share and spread information inside the ArcelorMittal organization
