The ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Europe division is looking for a AMTP Europe H&S Leader to coordinate H&S at AMTP Europe, reporting to Head of H&S and Quality AMTP Europe.
This position can be based in any of the AMTP Europe locations.
As AMTP Europe H&S Leader, your main responsibilities and mission will be:
Support the development of H&S policies and programs
Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (process and machinery compliance, etc.)
Ensure best-practice sharing between AMTP Europe production sites
Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
Develop and implement AMTP Europe H&S guidelines and procedures
Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventive measures
Initiate and organize H&S training of employees and executives
Carry out regular audits at AMTP Europe facilities (behavioral, compliance, incl. fatality prevention cross-audits)
Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
Coordinate the process of recording and investigation of safety incidents to determine causes and prevent recurrence, validate investigation results
Follow up on priority H&S KPIs (proactive and lagging indicators), projects and actions (e.g., sites’ and key managers’ safety audits performance, actions closure, machinery compliance, fatality prevention program, training programs and certifications) across AMTP Europe perimeter
Prepare reports and provide statistical and analytical information to upper management (weekly, monthly and ad hoc)
Organize H&S Day and HAP (Health Week) Campaign
Proposal of penalties / rewards. Implementation of H&S consequence management guidelines
JTZ (Journey to Zero)
Participate to the segment JTZ Steering & Coordination Committees and prepare the reports
Red side auditor (P6A) including reports preparation
Participation as expert in working groups
Implement decisions from JTZ Committee to AMTP Europe
Requirements
Proven experience as a safety specialist in an industrial environment
Fluency in English, knowledge of any other European language would be an asset
In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and standards (e.g. ISO 45001)
Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials and practices
Experience in developing H&S policies and procedures
Experience in conducting data analysis and reporting
Advanced skills in Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, incl. its automation tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain H&S topics
Able to travel on a regular basis to the different production sites of the division
