The ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Europe division is looking for a Plant Manager ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Hautmont & Chevillon (M/F).
The position is based in Hautmont.
As Plant Manager, your main responsibilities & missions will be:
Definition of objectives and strategic deployment:
Implement Group policies and Business Division strategy
Develop site industrial strategy aligned with goals and targets set
Support the plant to reach performance expectations based on indicators set
Prepare and execute strategic workforce planning actions
Management and organization of the production site:
Ensure communication and governance inside the plant
Plan production in compliance with specifications
Ensure the smooth running of the entire production chain: manufacturing, maintenance, quality, scheduling, methods, supply
Identify production malfunctions and unforeseen events and provide corrective solutions to the main stakeholders concerned
Ensure the quality and compliance of industrial activity (products, processes, environment, etc.)
Manage the daily relationship with the various production department managers: workshop managers, planning manager, process methods engineers, etc.
Performance monitoring and production optimization:
Monitor the evolution of performance indicators and identify profitability levers (production capacity, optimization of resources)
Propose investments that will improve production performance in the short, medium or long term (deployment of new technologies, automation, training, etc.).
Manage investment plans, from the development of specifications/calls for tenders to the supervision of the implementation of new projects
Administrative and financial management:
Manage relationships with the company's main stakeholders like customers, suppliers & community (welcome on site, support for industrial subcontracting activities, etc.) in conjunction with the purchasing and sales departments
Assume the administrative, economic, financial and accounting management responsibilities of the factory, and ensure its budgetary sustainability
Monitor the depreciation of equipment, the management of general maintenance and structural costs (payroll, supplies, fleet management, etc.) in connection with management control
Human resources management and QHSE:
Enforce the company's social policy (internal regulations, company agreements) and ensure respect for employee rights
Anticipate with human resources the needs in terms of recruitment, mobility, skills development
Chair meetings with the social and economic committees of the site or establishment (whether with establishment committees, staff delegates or health-safety-working conditions committees)
Ensure compliance of the entire sites, processes, and the proper application of all directives by implementing, particularly in conjunction with quality and compliance managers, internal audit procedures and actions prevention
Skills & Background required:
Master’s degree in Engineering with 15+ years of experience in a similar position and in a dynamic of continuous progress
Languages: very good level of English, knowledge of any other European language would be an asset
Knowledge of the French industrial and social environment
Good knowledge of industrial processes
Ability to bring together multidisciplinary teams
Listening, anticipation, responsiveness and sense of organization
Skills in operations management and supply chain management
In-depth knowledge of company structures and production processes
