SR. MANAGER BRAND & CAMPAIGN (f/m/d)

Position Overview


Reporting into the Global Lead for Brand & Campaign, the the Sr. Manager Brand & Campaign will be instrument in developing successful global Brand Marketing strategies that will position Decathlon as a true leader in the sport industry. The candidate will have central role in all the cross functional interaction across the Global and local marketing organization of Decathlon.


Key Responsibilities



Support Brand & Campaign Leader: Assist in all cross-functional tasks, with a strong emphasis on strategy and planning to help shape the brand and its positioning.
Communication Strategy Development: Collaborate with Leader to create comprehensive communication strategies. These strategies should clearly define the role of content across the entire marketing funnel and various channels. This includes developing seasonal/annual rollout plans that align with the overall marketing calendar spanning across brand, commercial, cultural/regional moments.
Content Delivery Protocols: Establish guidelines to ensure timely delivery of all content, allowing sufficient time for planning and execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between different teams, particularly Strategy, Media, and Operations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Digital Transformation: Promote a more digital-focused approach within the team, fostering strong synergies with the Performance Marketing team.
Brand elevating Focus: Create "always-on" strategies that integrate Sustainability, Circularity, and Innovation into communication plans and campaigns, along with appropriate product integration strategies to support in elevating the brand and acquiring new customer.
Campaign Effectiveness: Encourage a focus on "Campaign Effectiveness" within the team to enhance overall performance (insights, measurement, testing).
Market Relations Management: Act as a primary point of contact for market-related interactions that go beyond individual campaign development, ensuring greater integration between global and local content strategies.

Preferred Background



Experience: 8/9 years’ experience in global brand marketing, with a focus on building and executing large-scale, high-impact brand and campaign strategies.
Preferred expertise: Extensive experience in the sports, retail, or lifestyle industry, with a focus on building strong global brand identities.
Global brand strategy: Proven track record in developing and executing global brand strategies that strengthen brand equity and drive long-term growth.
Full funnel omnichannel campaign strategy and rollout: Expertise in designing and implementing full-funnel marketing strategies across multiple channels to engage customers at every stage of the buyer journey.
Markets management - Ability to collaborate with global and local marketing teams, driving alignment between central strategy and local market needs.
Digital/social campaigns - Expertise in developing and leading innovative digital and social media campaigns that increase brand engagement and awareness across platforms
Able to thrive in environments of strong transformation, scaling and acceleration.

This role is based in Amsterdam with 2 days per week of home office. Regular traveling between Amsterdam and Lille hubs is expected.
